The dreams of poor children took a long flight under the Delhi Metro bridge| दिल्ली मेट्रो पुल के नीचे गरीब बच्चों के सपनों ने भरी लम्बी उड़ान

 Above is the living example of the progress of the country, Delhi Metro and just below it some children cherishing their dreams in the world.  Classes are held under Delhi's Yamuna Bank metro station.  The children studying here have shelters in the surrounding slums and the people who teach them are those for whom this school is just an education, not a deal.  Rajesh Kumar Sharma, who came from a small village in Aligarh district, is running "School Under The Bridge School" since 2006 with his colleague Laxmichandra.  Gradually, the number of children in this school has now reached 150 and this school embraces every child who wants to study.  But the compulsions do not allow him to proceed in this direction.  

The children who are in front of Rajesh today, were once a part of this queue as well.  The financial condition of the house did not allow him to study.  But today Rajesh is determined that whatever happened in his life, he will not allow this to happen to these children.  Although there is no financial gain for them here, yet they are engaged in this noble work with selfless spirit with one of their passions.  Now along with the children, the faith of their parents keeps encouraging them.  Here all subjects are taught English, Hindi and Mathematics.  The children taught here are now getting admission in government schools very easily.  Now the dreams of these children are also coming true and their courage is also getting stronger.  Today Rajesh ji's courage, courage and passion have given real flight to the wings of "School Under The Bridge".  This noble work of Rajesh ji has been encouraged by the Delhi Metro along with other social service organizations.  Rajesh says "Education is the right of every child, it is a love. Or rather it is a tool by which anything in the world can be achieved."

ऊपर देश की तरक्की की जीती जागती मिसाल दिल्ली मेट्रो और उसके ठीक नीचे अपने सपनों को दुनियाँ को संजोते कुछ बच्चे। दिल्ली की यमुना बैंक मेट्रो स्टेशन के नीचे लगती है क्लास। यहाँ पढ़ने वाले बच्चों के आशियानें हैं आसपास की झुग्गियां और इन्हें पढ़ाने वाले हैं लोग वो हैं जिनके लिए ये स्कूल मात्र एक शिक्षा है, कोई सौदा नहीं। अलीगढ़ जिले के एक छोटे से गाँव से आये राजेश कुमार शर्मा अपने सहयोगी लक्ष्मीचंद्र साल 2006 से "School Under The Bridge स्कूल" चला रहे हैं। धीरे-धीरे इस स्कूल में बच्चों की गिनती अब 150 तक पहुँच चुकी है और ये स्कूल हर उस बच्चे को गले लगाती है जो पढ़ना चाहता है। लेकिन मजबूरियाँ उन्हें इस ओर आगे बढ़ने नहीं देतीं। 

जो बच्चे आज राजेश के सामने हैं, कभी खुद राजेश भी इसी कतार का हिस्सा थे। घर की आर्थिक स्थिति ने उन्हें पढ़ने नहीं दिया। लेकिन आज राजेश ने ठान ली है की जो कुछ उनके जीवन में घटा, वे अब इन बच्चों के साथ नहीं घटने देंगे। हालाँकि यहाँ इन्हें कोई आर्थिक लाभ नहीं है, फिर भी ये अपने एक जूनून के साथ निःस्वार्थ भावना से इस नेक काम में जुटे हुए हैं। अब तो बच्चों के साथ-साथ इनके माँ बाप का विश्वास ही इन्हें प्रोत्साहित करता रहता है। यहाँ बच्चों को अंग्रेजी, हिंदी और गणित सभी विषय पढ़ाये जाते हैं। यहाँ पढ़ाये बच्चों को अब बड़ी ही आसानी से सरकारी स्कूलों में दाखिला मिलने लगा है। अब इन बच्चों के सपने भी साकार हो रहे हैं और इनकी हिम्मत भी मज़बूत होती जा रही है। आज राजेश जी की हिम्मत, हौसले और जज़्बे ने ही "School Under The Bridge " की पंखों को वास्तविक उड़ान दी है। राजेश जी के इस नेक काम को दिल्ली मेट्रो के साथ अन्य समाज सेवी संस्थाओं ने भी आगे बढ़कर प्रोत्साहित किया है। राजेश कहते हैं "शिक्षा हर बच्चे का अधिकार है, ये एक प्यार है। या यूं कहें की ये एक ऐसा यंत्र है जिससे दुनियाँ कोई भी चीज़ हासिल की जा सकती है।"
